Reynolds – LTC 138
The Vision
Reynolds sought to upgrade the LTC 138 Multipurpose Room with a modern AV system capable of supporting both large meetings and smaller breakout sessions. The new system needed to offer high-quality video conferencing, flexible content sharing, and clear audio coverage for all participants. Camera coverage was a priority, with the goal of capturing both presenters and audience members through intelligent automatic switching. The design also needed to support multiple connection points—both wired and wireless—while offering intuitive room control from various locations. Above all, the system needed to be adaptable, easy to operate, and capable of meeting the diverse needs of the space.
The Solution
To achieve these goals, Code3AV designed an integrated AV solution centered on flexibility, clarity, and ease of use. A Crestron NVX AV-over-IP distribution system allows content to be routed to any display individually, supporting both full-room presentations and smaller group configurations. Multiple connection points at the podium, control desk, and wall plates, along with Clickshare wireless conferencing gateways, make it easy for users to present or host meetings from anywhere in the space. A five-camera video conferencing system, including an autotracking presenter camera and audience-view PTZ cameras, delivers dynamic coverage for remote participants. Six Shure ceiling microphones capture clear audio across the entire room while providing location cues for automatic camera switching, and a ceiling speaker system offers balanced voice reinforcement. Control is simplified with touch panels at key locations, giving users easy access to volume, video routing, camera control, and conferencing settings. The result is a versatile system that enhances communication, improves meeting flow, and is ready for a wide range of uses.
